Biography
Russian born soprano Olga Orlovskaya inherited her talent from her great grandfather famous Russian bass Fedor Shalyapin. She graduated with honor from the Russian Academy of Music and attained degree Master of Arts with specialty in voice.
Olga participant and finalist of multiple national and international festivals and competitions such as “Palaces of St. Petersburg”, “Norway Cultural Festival”, “Opera Ischia Festival”, “Roma Opera Festival” and “Great Lake Chamber Music Festival” Ms. Orlovskaya was prize winner of the international competition Operetta Land for best performance of Kalman in 2008 in Moscow. Ms. Orlovskaya is the founder and artistic director of the quartet “The Russian Sopranos”.
Ukrainian pianist Serhii Morozov holds his Master of Music degree from Moscow State Conservatory, Russia (1998), and his Doctor of Musical Art degree from the University of Maryland in College Park (2003).
Serhii is the First Prize winner on competitions in the United States: Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev International Piano Competition in Radford, Virginia; Five Towns Music and Art Piano Competition in Hewlett, New York; W. Byrd International Piano Competition in Flint, Michigan and Baltimore Music Club Piano Competition in Towson, Maryland. He also received the third prizes on The World Piano Competition in Cincinnati, Ohio; Mary Graham Lasley Concerto Competition in Alexandria, Virginia and International Piano Competition in Naples, Italy. Mr. Morozov appeared as a guest artist and jury member on 2001 Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev Competition and Festival. He conducted a piano master class at NorthernKentucky University and performed recitals at: Aronoff Art Center and Queen City Club of Cincinnati, Ohio; Arts Club of Washington, DC and Clarice SmithPerforming ArtsCenter at the University of Maryland. Serhii appeared as a soloist with Flint Symphony, Michigan and the World Symphony of Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as with several orchestras in Ukraine and Russia. He also performed recitals in major venues of these countries, as well as in concert halls of Italy, Belgium, Portugal and Greece. In 2012-2014, Dr. Morozov was an adjunct piano professor at Towson University, Maryland.
