Biography

Darling of the cognoscenti, Noah Hardaway was raised in rural Fayetteville, Texas (population 258) and now performs regularly at piano festivals across North America and Europe, including two summers at the Aspen Music Festival. He overcame a late start at the instrument and has since gained the attention and mentorship of world-renowned pianists and pedagogues, notably John O’Conor as well as faculty and graduates of Moscow Conservatory such as Vadym Kholodenko, Sergei Glavatskih, and Pavel Nersessian.

Noah has developed a vivid and communicative style which, along with his insightful commentary and program notes, invites intense engagement with the music at hand. Noah graduated magna cum laude from Rice University, with Distinction in Research and Creative Works. He is currently a master’s student of John O’Conor at Shenandoah University.
