Hailed as \u201cter-RIFF-ic!\u201d by Sir Richard Rodney Bennett and \u201ca technically gifted young virtuoso\u201d (Chestnut Hill Local<\/em>, Philadelphia, PA), pianist Noah Alden Hardaway<\/strong> is forging a multifaceted career as far afield as Spain, Sardinia, and Lithuania, as well as Canada and the United States. Enthusiastic reception for Noah\u2019s appearances has led to frequent reengagements. He is a regular on the festival circuit, appearing at over a dozen including Pianofest in the Hamptons, Art of the Piano in Cincinnati, and two summers at the Aspen Music Festival and School, where he performed as soloist with the Aspen Sinfonia Concertante. In the \u201921-\u201922 season, Noah gave his Philadelphia debut, won 1st prize at the Mary Graham Lasley Scholarship Competition associated with the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra, and received the Outstanding Performance in Piano Award from Shenandoah University. In May 2023 he made his debut as conductor-pianist. He was also a finalist in the Houston Symphony League Concerto Competition and the 2019 Frances Walton Competition in Seattle. He has performed on WUSF 89.7 FM and appeared in the Houston Chronicle as well as the Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Winchester Star, and Texas Signal. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Noah gave many livestreamed concerts and lecture-recitals as well as performances in seven U.S. states. He frequently performs in and around Washington, D.C. under the auspices of the Ryuji Ueno Foundation and recently had a recital and masterclass residency at Washington and Lee University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Noah works as Assistant Head of Piano at tonebase, a company producing innovative and high-quality teaching videos featuring the world\u2019s top musicians. He has a passion for curating unconventional projects, including assembling large student ensembles, hosting radio programs, and leading interdisciplinary performances. At Shenandoah University\u2019s inaugural ShenCoLAB, Noah received a grant to direct and perform in the Virginia premiere of Schnittke\/Kandinsky\u2019s Der gelbe Klang<\/em> (The yellow sound). Noah serves as Assistant to the Director and Chairman of Pianofest in the Hamptons, is Board Secretary at the Adamant Music School in Vermont, and has taught piano at the Wakefield School in Virginia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2014, Noah has studied intensively with Moscow Conservatory artists Vadym Kholodenko, Sergei Glavatskih, and Pavel Nersessian, and his senior thesis is the first English-language exploration of Vera Gornostaeva\u2019s life and work: a transformative approach to the art of teaching in the grand tradition of Heinrich Neuhaus. Noah graduated magna cum laude from Rice University\u2019s Shepherd School of Music with Distinction in Research and Creative Works. Legendary Irish pianist and Beethoven interpreter John O\u2019Conor has been a mentor since 2012, and in 2021 Noah began working towards a doctorate in Dr. O\u2019Conor\u2019s studio at Shenandoah University as a full scholarship recipient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Described by The Washington Post<\/em> as a \u201cdazzling virtuoso,\u201d Daniel Lelchuk<\/a> is Assistant Principal cellist of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, appointed by Music Director Carlos Miguel Prieto; he holds the same position with the New Orleans Opera Association. He has performed at numerous international festivals including those of Aspen, Baden-\u00adBaden, Hawaii, Colorado, Minnesota Lakes Area, Silicon Valley, and Salzburg. He has served as guest cellist of the Qatar Philharmonic, guest first cellist of the Orquesta Filarm\u00f3nica de Jalisco, cellist of the Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de Miner\u00eda (Mexico City) and first cellist of the Royal Opera House Muscat (Oman).  At the invitation of Prince Nicol\u00f2 Boncompagni Ludovisi, he presented a series of solo cello recitals at the famed Villa Aurora, Rome. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Lelchuk served from 2010-\u00ad2014 as principal cellist of the Castleton Festival under Maestro Lorin Maazel, where he performed to acclaim major solos from the operatic and symphonic repertoire, most notably Verdi\u2019s Otello<\/em>. Since 2016 he has served as first cellist of the New York-based Salom\u00e9 Chamber Orchestra and makes regular international tours with David Aaron Carpenter and the Ensemble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also an accomplished administrator, Daniel Lelchuk is a founding member of the Castleton Chamber Players with violinist Eric Silberger, where they present chamber music in the jewel box Theatre House<\/em> designed and built by Maestro Maazel. In these concerts they are regularly joined by world-class musicians such as Orion Weiss, Michelle DeYoung, and Paul Groves. In 2023, Mr. Lelchuk founded the Festival de M\u00fasica de C\u00e1mara Antigua (Antigua Chamber Music Festival), the first ever fully-fledged chamber music festival in the historic city of Antigua, Guatemala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since 2022, he has worked as the Lead of Cello Content at tonebase, the premier online music education company, where he designs the content for the cello platform, hosts regular livestreams broadcast worldwide, and manages a community of thousands of passionate, diverse cellists from every corner of the globe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to his busy concert schedule, Daniel Lelchuk leads a rich speaking life behind the microphone. He was the popular and frequent guest host of The Food Show<\/em> on WWL radio where he interviewed celebrity chefs and welcomed callers from all over the country live on-air. He is the creator and host of the popular podcast regularly heard in more than seventy countries Talking Beats with Daniel Lelchuk<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>where he engages the world’s leading cultural figures and thinkers in spirited, in-depth conversation. Guests include Walter Isaacson, Linda Ronstadt, Ambassador Michael McFaul, Mike Espy, Nicholas Christakis, Michael Walzer, John McWhorter, David Frum, Jacques P\u00e9pin, Petula Clark, Moshe Safdie, Amy Tan, Richard Haass, and Wynonna Judd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On public radio WWNO New Orleans, Mr. Lelchuk created the LPO Radio Hour<\/em>, where he takes listeners on a highly curated weekly tour of great orchestral, chamber, and operatic music, for which he provides frank commentary, behind the scenes look at concert life, and context so the brand-new listener instantly feels at home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
