In recent years, we have seen a rise of Asian Americans in western media. However, many of them have come as tokenizations rather than genuine depictions of Asian Americans. With these songs, I attempt to show what happens when you delve into an Asian brain \u2014 it is both subversive and participatory in relation to the western gaze.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
