This is not really a typical chamber music concert. This is not really a music education show. This is not really a program for the overly-serious or snobby-music critic. This is simply a bassist and violinist from the NSO having fun with music…and props.<\/p>\n

\"Switcheroo\"<\/a>\"Cowboy<\/a>\"Big<\/a>\"pucker<\/a><\/p>\n

    The String Thing was written by Paul DeNola and Heather LeDoux Green to be performed for a Children’s Hospital concert.  After much work preparing their show they were surprised to be told by the hospital when they arrived that there would be no children<\/i> at their performance due to a flu epidemic. So, like any professional musicians would do, they performed for doctors, nurses, staff, and visitors and were received with great enthusiasm, realizing that adults like kids jokes too! To be 5, or not to be 5? That is our question. During the show we won’t be talking. You will hear almost all classical music written exclusively by deceased composers.<\/div>\n
