She lives in NYC where she perfects her acting craft at the HB Studio.<br>She sang Rosina from Il Barbiere di Siviglia and Cenerentola by Rossini in New York with Opera Amore and in Paris with the European Center of Musique. In 2020, she sang for the opening of the International Game Competition in Doha Stadium. With the Manhattan Opera Studio festival she was Cherubino and the Third Lady in Mozart\u2019s operas. In Paris she sings regularly for charities for sick children of the Hopital Necker and brings music to associations helping people with social difficulties. The large extension of her voice let her today explore the soprano repertoire introducing Manon from Massenet or Blanche from Le dialogue des Carmelites by Poulenc.<br>With a particular attachment to chamber music, she worked under the guidance of the late Udo Reinemann. French Melodie repertoire and the poetry that shines within, is the perfect place to combine her passion for lyrical art and beauty of the words.<br>She was recently Mrs Hardwicke-Moore in The Lady of Larkspur Lotion by Tennessee Williams&nbsp;at the Theater Row in NYC and we\u2019ll be shooting two short film this spring and summer in California and Paris.<br>She is the co-founder, artistic director and head of the outreach program within the French company vivOpera supported by the European Center of Musique and the Rothschild Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\"><strong>Anna Khanina<\/strong> has been praised for her \u201cbrilliant technique, musicality, and irreproachable taste.\u201d (Ibbenbuehrener Zeitung).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Khanina enjoys a successful performing career. She regularly appears as a soloist and with chamber ensembles in Europe, United States, Canada, and Israel. She has performed at such venues as 92 Y Kaufman Hall, Symphony Space, Staller Center for Arts, Trinity Church, Yamaha Piano Salon, and Steinway Hall in New York, Dame Myra Hess Concert Series, Pianoforte Chicago, Ganz Hall at Roosevelt University, DePaul University in Chicago, Georg Phillip Telemann Hall, Muendener Schloss, in Germany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Her concerts were live broadcast on WFMT Chicago (2007, 2011, 2014), The Voice of Music radio from Jerusalem Music Centre (2008), McGrow Young Artists Showcase WQXR New York (2011), and wiox.org (2011).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anna Khanina\u2019s long list of awards include the prizes at Val Tidone International Piano Competition, the Second International Piano Competition in Panama, the Seventh International Competition Ciutat de Carlet, the Grieg Competition in Oslo, the Nueva Acropolis Competition in Madrid, and the Classica Nova Competition in Hannover.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Khanina is a thought after chamber musician and collaborator. She has been invited to Braunschweig Classix Festival, Schleswig-Hollstein Music Festival, Hochschule fuer Musik und Theater Hannover Chamber Music Festival, the Norfolk Festival, Banff Music Centre, Festival Internacional de Musica Erudita de Piracicaba in Brazil, and Tefen Music Festival in Israel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Along with her performing career, Ms. Khanina remains a dedicated teacher. She is currently on the faculty at the 92nd Street Y and Bloomingdale School of Music. Her students have appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and successfully participated at numerous national competitions.<br><br>Anna started her musical education at the age of five, and in 1996 she graduated with honors from the famous Gnessin School of Music in Moscow for gifted children, where she studied with Lidia Grigorjeva. Upon her graduation, she immigrated to Germany, where she began studies with Professor Bernd Goetzke at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Theater Hannover. In 1999 she graduated from the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Magna cum Laude. In 2001 she earned a Master\u2019s degree from the same institution, and subsequently went on to pursue an Artist Diploma in the Soloist-Class in 2001. At the same time, while pursuing her studies at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik, Anna simultaneously pursued a second Master\u2019s degree in Performance at the Gnessin Academy of Music, where she again graduated with honors in 2004.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2007 she completed a Piano Performance Diploma at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University, where she studied as a full-scholarship student of Solomon Mikowsky.
