Her primary teachers include A. Vinnitsky, B. Senofsky, and H. Greenberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ms. Bogachek&#8217;s past solo engagements include performances in Russia, former Yugoslavia, France, and Finland with orchestras such as the Sverdlovsk Philharmonic and Sibelius Academy Symphony, among others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While in the United States, she has appeared as a soloist with the National Symphony, Knoxville Symphony, Centennial Philharmonic, and Eclipse Chamber Orchestras, and performed with various chamber music groups throughout the country. Ms. Bogachek was a member of the Knoxville Symphony and the North Carolina Symphony prior to joining the National Symphony Orchestra in September 2000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(Ms. Bogachek, performing with her husband Zino as &#8220;Duo Concertone&#8221;, has wowed audiences around the world with stunning musicianship!)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-drop-cap\">Pianist&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;<strong>Wan-Chi Su<\/strong>&nbsp;has performed in Asia, Europe, and the United States as a soloist and collaborative artist, at major venues including Carnegie\u2019s Weill Recital Hall, Salle&nbsp;Cortot in Paris, and Taiwan National Concert Hall. Reviewing her recent performance at the Washington National Cathedral, the&nbsp;<em>American Scholar<\/em>&nbsp;noted that \u201c(she) played with sensitivity and imagination.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Decorated with numerous awards, Dr. Su won first prize in the Taiwan Cultural Cup Invitational Piano Competition, and the Taiwan National Student Music Competition in Piano. Further, she has been invited to numerous music festivals, including the Taos School of Music, the Beethoven Institute, both the Icicle Creek Piano Festival and the Icicle Creek Chamber Music Festival, the NTSO International Piano Program in Taiwan, and the Paris Piano Program in France. She is the co-founder of Duo Sorolla and an artist member of the Piatigorsky Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Dr. Su began piano lessons at age four. She received a bachelor\u2019s degree in piano, minoring in French horn, from the National Kaohsiung Normal University in Taiwan, followed by a Master of Music, a Graduate Performance Diploma, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from the Peabody Institute of the Johns Hopkins University.
