After a year and a half in Texas, Noah Hardaway is back in Virginia and raring to play! Come join us for his first in-person salon since before the pandemic, or tune in online. The program features three masterworks: Beethoven\u2019s transcendent final sonata and Mussorgsky\u2019s vibrant tableaus have been beloved by audiences for well over a century, and Noah is excited to share a modern American repertoire staple: Winnsboro Cotton Mill Blues by Frederic Rzewski, based on a work song popularized by Pete Seeger. Come for the classics, stay for the most hypnotic (and bluesy!) machine-music ever written. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
