This lesser known music is virtuosic and fun, and at times somber and reflective, but always inspiring!<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\">Biography<\/h1>\n<p><strong>Mr. Ismar Gomes<\/strong>, &#8216;cellist, attended graduate school at the Peabody Conservatory.\u00a0 He has performed in dozens of recital series throughout the USA with Wan Chi Su (&#8220;Duo Sorolla&#8221;), often collaborating with other renowned musicians in a wide range of music including most of the standard repertoire for cello and piano, as well as lesser known music.\u00a0 His recitals bring together varied works that explore new and traditional approaches to expression, and\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 enjoys guiding audiences along this journey through each unique program.\u00a0 Over the past several seasons, Ismar has commissioned and premiered works from William Weigel, Aaron Malone, Larry Nelson, and Mark Hagerty.
